Trump strikes again with Jerusalem
One may ask why Lebanon has broke out in protests due to Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel capital, since this decision directly affects Palestine. Well for one Lebanon has over 500,000 Palestine refugees who would be devastated to hear that Jerusalem won't be recognized as their capital after for it for so long. This decision has produced major backlash around the world. North Korea (our enemy) has denounced President's Trumps's decision as "Reckless wicked Act". Indonesia a predominantly Muslim country had 10,000 people protest outside of the American Embassy "It was the third and largest demonstration in their country against the Jerusalem decision by Mr.Trump.

I believe this action can cause really bad affects and I believe a war may start. I believe a war will start for the actual right to clam Jerusalem and have major effects on America. I believe neighboring country's will join in if necessary and will further draw in America as Israel asks for help. More people will be needed to go off, and more money will be needed to fund them and this will hurt America. America at the moment doesn't have the funds to be sending people off to fight for this country especially when the war doesn't really help America. Trump should take back or straight up change his statement to not cause a further problems in a very certain topic.
ReplyDeleteI dont believe what Trump did was a bold move and that he should be more careful with his words, because as most can see it cause confusion which leads to more conflict with not only the US but now with Israel. But I also feel that the muslims shouldnt feel like they arent getting pushed out because they where here before them , matter a fact the jewish people left. So it should be a finders keepers kind of decision.
ReplyDeleteI believe this is very wrong of Trump to do. As you stated Palestine fought for Jerusalem for so long, and for him to just take it from them in the snap of a finger is ridiculous. I do think that this can possibly cause a war. Not only would Palestine fight, but Indonesia is protesting as well so any other Muslim countries or neighboring countries would join in too. However, if enough people protest about it there may be a change in Trump’s decision.
ReplyDeleteI think that Trump need to rethink about his actions and how this could affect others. He doesn't know what comes out of his mouth half the time and it can change what people think now since he's president. He still has a mindset similar to when he was a businessman and doesn't realize the power he holds and saying something so careless can lead to a domino affect and cause it to become controversial or even possibly start a war.
