Trumps Plan on Tax Cuts

President Trump has a plan to make tax cuts. These cuts are suppose to be the biggest cuts in the history of the country. He believes that he will have enough votes for his plan to pass in Congress.  “Well, it’s going to be all growth. Look, it’s going to be growth. I think that growth can be staggering. I also think we have a lot of waste in this country. And we’ll be doing other things. We will be doing welfare reform. I mean that’s coming up,” said Trump in his interview on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. He plans to not only deal with taxes but also health care. His main claim is that there will be “growth” for the country.
What good or bad do you think will come from these tax cuts? The welfare reform? Also, Trump hasn’t stated exactly how he’s going to get all of these things done. So will something be done, or is this just another statement telling people what they want to hear?

  1. The idea here is that Trump wants to create or make tax cuts, which I definitely believe it's both a good thing and bad. This is good because he wants to see economic, social, and political growth, but on the other hand that growth can lead to chaos and having taxes be cut means less money to the people which causes people to not like Trump idea. So therefore I disagree and agree with the president and firmly believe that yes Trump is going to do something something because now in the world he said he's going to build a wall to keep the immigrants out which it's almost done proves that Trump will importantly get things done.

  2. I think that it could lead to trouble with how he say he get this tax cut but not explaining how he will do it. I think tax cut will be bad for the government that their not getting the amount of taxes they always receive and the people get an increase on their income. Also I believe it to be another statement that he'll say what he probably won't do but say it to us so we'll be alarmed and to keep us on edge.

  3. I believe these tax cuts won't really help sense the taxes pay for a lot of free type systems in the country, i.e schools. Besides that taxes also help pay for acts such as welfare so how can he improve it? He doesn't have so how can all this happen and how much is he really trying to decrease taxes by? These tax cuts doesn't seem like the best way to try improve these specific acts, even more so that they rely heavily on peoples taxes.

    1. If tax cuts also cut welfare then that’s going to be a problem. It would seem like he’s doing things that benefit “the people” but in turn are bad for minorities or the lower class. Many schools don’t have the necessary funding as is so to cut taxes would also mean somewhat depriving children of education? Maybe this is why he won’t explain his plan further.

  4. i think the tax cut will be a bad outcome for the United States, due this reason the wealth will reap more glory from the tax cut because they already dont pay taxes and with the country starts to go into a panic the middle class will feel it the most because taxes will be higher which means there will be a higher demand for taxes later down the line.

  5. Tax cuts could potentially mean a higher rate of taxes for another group of people. You can’t cut off taxes or government payment because the government still needs to fund tons of different things or the country is going to fall. I believe that trump is just telling people what they want to hear giving people false hope. If you cut the taxes for one group taxes will have to increase for others and those others are the middle class and the less privileged leaving the rich home free
