April 27th North Korea had announced that they will be stopping their Nuclear tests and taking down the Northern facility for Nuclear testing. Many are skeptical due to the fact that he has history of using bait and switch techniques like with the Korean Peninsula. It is said that when the facility is to be taken down they will allow for people (journalists etc.) to be there to witness the process. Although Trump is basically ordering there to be access to these facilities anywhere anytime. Trump had been tweeting on Saturday in relations to the Korean war had said he had a “long and very good” talk with South Korean president Moon Jae-In. Also that he is exploring certain dates in order to meet with North Korea. Both North and South Korea agree that if there is a pledge from the U.S not to attack and a deal of the war to be established would be ideal to lead to a pact being created. Trump had also commented on the accomplishment made by the president Moon and Kim saying “ it wasn’t only good news for the koreans but the whole world”. Many kinks to the denuclearization plan have to be smoothed over and many skeptics feel as if he won’t be able to part with all of it.
Kim jong Un has been pretty okay up to this point in terms of negotiating the denuclearization plan but if he doesn’t put it in action it defeats the purpose. I feel as if he will especially after what happened with South and North Korea he may be changing for the better. Trump if hedoesn’t mess this up has the chance to heal and stop the conflict between us and North Korea. I feel as if North Korea will keep their word on the denuclearization plan do you?

In my opinion, I feel that North Korea is telling the truth and is making an effort to reconcile with the U.S. They are doing everything in their power to avoid a potential nuclear war with other countries, like the U.S. I'm not in the least skeptical about their statement because I believe that the clearly have a desire to protect their people from an incoming threat. Trump would be wise to take their denuclearization plan into consideration and consult with them. In doing so, both sides could discuss peace and this would ensure the safety on both sides.
ReplyDeleteI feel thatNorth Korea is not telling the truth due to the fact that the idea of denuclearization does not happen over night for the fact that North Korea is specifically stated many of times that they will attack the united states a number of times, Therefore I feel that North Korea will not keep there word due to the fact that all hostility and hate does not just o away like that. This is very important for the United States government because They can also include themselves in the pact, But I still feel that this is a little risky thing to do and to believe.
ReplyDeleteI think that North Korea is just playing along until they further notice. At this point north and south Korea as been enemies or in the constant feud for over sixty years and this is the first time they have been in the same sentence. If the decentralization happen this would be a big win for the US because its one less country they have to worry about. But there is still a lot of ways this thing could turn out.
ReplyDeleteThis plan being put into works is a amazing plan that definitely should be signed. All three parts should give equal feeling on it cause if one side rises to high with power the others might fall out of the plan. I also feel it's easier for Korea as a whole to agree with it unlike Trump. I feel this way because Trump does a lot off of emotion and he has a serious negative emotion towards North Korea and that might effect the way if this treaty.
